Reasons to consider it
- Every plan includes every workflow, API access and full commercial rights — the tiers differ only in credits, storage and Max quality
- Credits top up any time without changing plan
- Text-to-video, image-to-video, avatars, voiceover and upscaling under one credit pool
Reasons to look elsewhere
- The review record is poor: 2.7 on Trustpilot from 108 reviews, 35% of them one-star, and the company has not replied to negative reviews
- Credit-based pricing makes real cost hard to predict — the per-feature rate card is a separate page
- Priority support and a dedicated account manager are listed as not included on any of the three public plans
What the review score says
VideoGen holds 2.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 108 reviews.
Be careful here. VideoGen scores 2.7 on Trustpilot from 108 reviews — 35% one-star — and its G2 profile has only 3 reviews, too few to mean anything. That is the weakest review record of anything we have documented on this site. The pricing above is real and verified; whether the product delivers on it is exactly what these reviews dispute.
What we cannot tell you
How VideoGen feels after a month of real use. Whether support actually answers when something breaks. Whether the workflow fits your specific case. Those need an account and real use, and we have not done that. Anyone publishing those answers without doing the work is guessing, and you deserve to know which is which.
We have not compared this against rivals yet
VideoGen is the first product we have documented in AI video generators. A single product is not a comparison, so there is no category page for it yet — we will build one once we have read the pricing pages of its main competitors and can put them side by side on the same facts.
