Source: www.activecampaign.com/pricing. Prices are US list prices in USD, read from each vendor pricing page on the date above. Vendors localise pricing by country — we saw GetResponse quote in Vietnamese dong from a Vietnamese connection — so what you see may differ. Always confirm on the vendor page before buying.
Reasons to consider it
- Largest review base of the six by a wide margin — 14,795 reviews on G2
Reasons to look elsewhere
- No free plan, and a 14-day trial is short for testing an email platform properly
- Entry price is not printed on the pricing page — you have to configure a plan to see a number
- Trustpilot rating of 2.7 from 1,436 reviews sits far below its 4.4 on G2
What the review scores say
ActiveCampaign holds 4.4 out of 5 on G2 from 14,795 reviews, and 2.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 1,436 reviews. That is a wide gap. G2 and Capterra verify reviewers as business users of the product; Trustpilot is open to anyone and tends to collect billing and support complaints. A gap this size usually points at the commercial experience rather than the software.
What we cannot tell you
Whether emails from ActiveCampaign reach the inbox reliably. Whether the interface makes sense after a week. How long support takes to reply. Those need an account and real use, and we have not done that. Anyone publishing those answers without doing the work is guessing, and you deserve to know which is which.
Where it sits against the others
The full comparison puts them side by side on the same facts. If ActiveCampaign is not the fit, these are worth a look:
- MailerLite — free plan: 250 subscribers, 2,500 emails a month, paid from $12/mo (Comfort)
- Brevo — free plan: unlimited contacts, 300 emails a day, paid from $9/mo (Starter)
- Omnisend — free plan: 250 contacts, 500 emails a month, paid from $16/mo (Standard, 500 contacts)
